Pearl Jewelry Ltd apologizes for the incident that happened during an instagram live of one of our brand model where she said inappropriate comment and a racial slur.we want to assure our customers and parteners that that behaviour does not reflect our brand's principles. 

We seriously apologize for our model behaviour even though the live was not about our brand promotion but she represent our image and we take responsibility of her actions ,and as a result we have decided to end our partenership and remove any content related to her from our social platform and in store displays.

Accountability is incredibly important in moments like this and we hope that meaningful change can come from it and as we take serious measures to prevent this to happen again in the future.Thank you for your understanding and for your support.

  Normative Theories In Practice:Media Policy in Rwanda As the head of media policy in Rwanda, I recommend using the S ocial Responsibility Media Theory for our country .This normative theory balances press freedom with ethical accountability ,making it suitable for our country.Unlike the Libertarian theory which emphasizes unrestricted freedom ,social responsibility theory emphasize the media's responsibility to provide accurate,fair and socially beneficial information (Christians et al., 2009).it avoids the limitations of Authoriarian or soviet communist theories, where government control the press and public opnion (Siebrt,Peterson & schramm,1956).
